Our job is not just to complete tasks and projects. Our job is make an impact. When you notice loose ends or identify new opportunities, assume you’re personally responsible for them. Taking ownership means thinking beyond the task at hand, finding smarter ways to work, and exploring wider possibilities.

Be aware of your needs and communicate them to others. We commit to making clear, direct requests of each other, and we commit to doing our best to respond to others’ needs, too. If we need personal space, we take it, but we let the team know first. If we need collaboration on something, we don’t silently expect it, we ask for it directly.

Our mission is urgent, but impact takes time. We can’t expect to promote wellbeing without finding it ourselves. Find a consistent work-life rhythm to keep your fire burning bright long-term. Avoid filling your downtime with busywork; Instead, take it as an opportunity to put another log on your fire and recover for the next wave.

Track key documents, tasks, dates, assignments, and status in a shared, accessible structure. At the same time, avoid burdening the team with unnecessary cognitive load. We use great tools not only to organize our process and maximize quality, but also to reduce the burden on our minds. Overdoing it defeats the purpose.

Our colleagues, clients, prospects, participants, and users are all human beings worthy of honesty, empathy and respect. We don’t shy away from hard conversations. We do our best to relieve their tension and uncertainty where possible. We aim to include those who might feel excluded. We keep in mind that our interactions with them take place in the context of a personal life beyond our awareness and control.

Let go of aggressive competition while maintaining its potential to motivate.
